When we stepped into this house, it transported us back a few decades (at least!) and with a walkthrough we knew we had to modernize and make the space more functional. We took each room and updated it, removing the old and making it feel like a home built in the modern times. Everything from electrical, plumbing, framing, you name it, we did it to this home.
The kitchen featured a beautifully redesigned space with new modern cabinets, quartz countertops, gold accents and all updated appliances. The living room was built around a modern fireplace where family could gather at Christmas or on a cool winter night and of course the main floor nook, where we expanded the area by re-positioning the stairs and creating a little space to sit by the updated wet bar and look out into the beautifully updated and landscaped yard.
Within the home there was multiple bedrooms which we heightened the ceilings, painted and made into usable fresh spaces. Each bathroom was completely overhauled to create showers that were more functional and not dingy and we updated all fixtures and modernized them to create a uniform feel throughout the house.
This home also had a mother in law suite that was too small for most and so we updated it be more livable by taking a bit of space from the garage and creating a larger kitchen, updated living area and of course a nice bathroom to match the other bathrooms in the home. We were able to create a space that had more earning potential and a modern, classic feel for either kids or renters to enjoy.
The front and back of the house was also completely redone by our team to turn it into a west coast oasis. There wasn’t a piece of this house that we didn’t demo, update and bring into the twenty first century.
